MIXED ENSEMBLES FORM THIS PRESTIGEOUS MUSIC INSTITUTION WILL BE PERFORMING BLANCO'S COMPOSITIONS:
-NEGRO Y BLANCO STRING QUARTET: A 11 MINUTES LONG STRING QUARTET BASED ON VENEZUELAN FOLK MUSIC, INTERPRETED BY JASPER QUARTET.
-AMAZONIA: A BIG BAND PIECE ORIGINALLY COMMISIONED AND PERFORMED BY SCOTISH NATIONAL JAZZ ORCHESTRA
MEDIUM ENSEMBLES PERFORMING MANY OF THE COMPOSERS COMPOSITION
AT THE END OF THE EVENT, LEO BLANCO WILL BE PERFORMING WITH PERCUSSIONIST JAMEY HADDAD (OBERLIN FACULTY). |
